To strengthen our team, we are looking as soon as possible for a Teamlead Financial Controller (m/f/d).
RESPONSIBILITIES | OUTCOMES:

Financial Reporting and Accounting- Responsible for ensuring that the plants financial reporting is in accordance with IFRS and HGB accounting standards.
- Develop and/or prepare specific financial analysis for the effective management of the plant and assist business leaders in interpretating the results.
- Responsible for the provision and review of audit working papers on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Liaison with professional advisors on legal, audit, tax and accounting matters as required
Internal Control, Policies and Procedures
- Plan, organize, direct and control through subordinates the financial reporting, accounting, and general financial affairs of the division.
- Develop and train Financial staff to ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to in a consistent manner within the division, and that the financial reporting standards are applied consistently.
- Review and assess areas of business risk within the division, and, working with Vice President, Finance, develop policies to minimize or eliminate that risk where possible.
- Ensure the safeguarding of company assets.
- Maintenance of the internal controls memorandum, a document outlining the operational controls in place at the division.
Finance Team Leadership
- Lead the Finance team in accordance with the company’s management and collaboration guidelines to ensure they deliver the highest quality financial data on time.
- Ensure that financial reporting and internal control requirements are met by training and developing the Finance team.
- Effectively lead the Finance team via establishing objectives and monitor their performance throughout the year.
- Ensure that all business activities of the divisions are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS’ Codes of Conduct.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A post-secondary diploma or degree specializing in accounting, finance or equivalent. A professional financial designation is required.
- Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing, financial and cost accounting environment preferably in a similar project-based industry.
- Experience working in a project-based and change management environment
- Experience reporting on operations in excess of (40M EUR +)
- Strong communication and presentation skills required
- Fluency in German & English is required
