Key Responsibilities:
The position carries accountability for all financial operations, including high-level accounting, managerial accounting and finance activities.

  • Providing Company Board of Directors with accurate financial information, management accounts and data analysis and preparing statutory financial statements, and ensure compliance of all statutory requirements pertaining to the Organization including transactions.
  • Will be the secretary of the board, and will arrange for the board meetings, minutes approval, and reports.
  • Interpreting financial information/ data, forecasting trends and formulating contingency measures where required, and financial analysis of performance indicators of all ventures entered into by the group
  • Ensuring robust financial systems, controls and procedures are in place.
  • Prepare budgets within the period, and the monthly accounts with comparison to budgets and variances as per agreed timeframe, including periodic financial statements and reports, annual accounts, audits.
  • Budgeting and forecasting process, including variances, and implement budgetary controls, sound management on wasteful practices, and improper use of financial resources including overshooting of budgets. Monitor capital budgets and ensure within budgets.
  • Prepare and get the annual accounts audited as per agreed schedule with the auditors
  • On a continuous basis audit the managerial processes administration overhead expenses for understanding wasteful and unsound practices and non- value added expenses for cost reduction, and to take corrective actions.
  • To enunciate, put in place and audit functioning of administration policies, procedures and systems and ensure compliance and implementation thereof.
  • Provide effective supervision to the Administration function and ensure its effectiveness, and review administration practices and course correct wherever necessary.
  • To guide the Organization in instituting sound HR practices, including defining of the policies, procedures, systems, structure and standard operating procedures, and stablish and ensure compliance of Schedule of Authorities.
  • Ensure compliance of all matters relating to sales, insurance, licenses, government orders and sanctions and renewals thereof.
  • Design and implement performance assurance mechanisms and ensure compliance in the Organization.
  • Managing cash flows and forecasting future needs.
  • Track group’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
  • Monitoring day-to-day financial operations within the group, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Managing tax reporting and compliance.
  • Handling, resolving financial, and accounts queries.
  • Working closely with the IT team to ensure all financial data is secure, and support in dissemination of information across organization wherever necessary for smooth operations.
  • Managing and developing a team of finance/account and AP professionals.
  • Developing relationships with external advisors, banks and others, and negotiate with them for improved terms with regard to interest, and or other charges.
  • Ensure availability of funds at the lowest possible cost, and proper application of funds.
  • Knowledge to track legal matters in relation to commercial, financial, and taxation laws.
  • Adhere to financial & commercial regulations and legislation.
  • Validate all financial transactions for its genuineness and proper application
  • Sound management on the status of businesses and generate MIS.
  • Monitor working capital and manage cash flows
  • Control and Streamline credit and recoveries to ensure recoveries of moneys due, and establish systems & procedures to monitor credit and recoveries.
  • As a custodian of all company’s documents and assets, to safeguard the assets of the company by ensuring appropriate internal controls at all levels

  • Computer literate and highly proficient in the use of MS Excel and accounting software.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
  • MBA ,“Finance/ Management”, Charted Accountant Certified.
  • Open to any nationality with GCC experience.
  • Having experience of managing group companies, and Family group business.
  • At least 15 years’ relevant experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of sourcing, growing and divesting investments.
  • Being an energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic leader with demonstrable experience of driving change, leading operations across multiple geographies to growth and better efficiency with a regional experience.
  • Regional Experience is required.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and with cultural sensitivity.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
