A greek leading company with international presence seeks to fulfill the position of Research & Development Director.
The Role
The ideal candidate will assume a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to leading key projects in collaboration with the R&D team to align with business objectives. This role involves spearheading research programs that integrate current advancements to enhance existing products and explore the potential of new ones. Additionally, the candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the General Director by participating in the recruitment and development of R&D personnel. The establishment of project goals and priorities, in alignment
with sales and marketing requirements, will be a key focus of this position.
Requirements
Diploma in the field of Chemical Engineer
Holder of a MSc/PhD degree will be consider an asset
Proven 5-7 years of experience in a relevant role in R&D department with the focus on plastic / polymer products
Problem solving skills, detailed oriented, multitasking and time management
Excellent leadership and managerial skills
Hands-on experience in managing or leading a team of employees
Reference letters from previous employers are required
