Support Worker – Permanent or Temporary [United Kingdom]


 

Superior Healthcare is urgently seeking experienced Support Workers who are looking for a rewarding care in our new temp to perm role!


When working as a Support Worker for Superior Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with young people in a key point of their development.

The role will be extremely rewarding, working with children and young adults helping develop their everyday skills, supporting their development and growth and enjoying daily activities with them.


Superior Healthcare are working with a client in Thanet to help secure permanent and temporary agency employees into their service. The opportunity offers morning or afternoon shifts within the week and/or long days at the weekend. This will be a mix of 7 hour to 12-hour shifts and you can decide what works around your home life.


Whilst we can offer full time hours, applications are invited from people who are seeking to work either full or part time hours. All that we ask, is that you are able to commit to at least 24 hours of work per week (which could be made up of two long shifts, or three shorter shifts).

  • Choice of early, late and weekend shifts (enhanced rates of pay are paid if you choose to work weekend shifts).

Superior Healthcare will provide a comprehensive induction when you join us and ongoing training opportunities throughout your employment. You will be offered the opportunity of a fully-funded NVQ/Diploma to support you on your way to becoming a Senior Carer. Requirements

  • Experience with challenging behaviour is preferred but not necessary.
  • You must be able to commit at least two shifts per week.
  • Access to your own car would be preferable but may not be essential if you have good access to and are willing to use alternative transport.

If you don’t have previous experience in care but want the training and support to start a new career, Superior Healthcare run a new to care programme for a small number of candidates monthly. Our client will also provide in-house training. Apply and ask for more details!
