The EH&S team designs, develops, implements and oversees the organization's environmental health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations.This role in summary
Improve EH&S (Environment, Health, and Safety) performances to avoid accidents and injuries in the plant by providing leadership and expertise. Evaluate and reduce EH&S risks of operations, and ensure EH&S compliance managing EHS KPI (i.e. UA/UC/NM/Eng-Waste Emission/Consumption).
Your responsibilities will include
- Manage the implementation of EH&S compliance audit, programs, and strategies
- Implement and develop Safety Standards for manufacturing facilities
- Led execution of specific EH&S projects aiming to guarantee compliance with the law and global corporate EH&S standards
- Manage and develop the organization for risk management (hazard recognition, risk identification, and evaluation, and control measures implementation) focused on risk elimination with a preventive and proactive approach
- Budget definition and capitals lease to ensure the achievement of the objectives
- Lead the WCM Safety and Environment Pillar
- Provide and lead guidelines for EHS Management System
- Lead execution of EH&S audits
- Support training and coaching on EH&S topics
- Pursue continuous improvement of EH&S performance (KPI monitoring)
- Industrial waste and emission management
Skills and Experiences
- Degree in Engineering (particular focus on Mechanical, Industrial or Technological specializations) or equivalent culture
- WCM: Safety, LOG, CD, Quality, PM, WO, AM
- Good working knowledge of statistical process control and WCM Methodology
- Team working attitudes
- Interpersonal communication
- Leadership skills
- Problem-solving
- Good experience in Industrial Engineering and production environment
