Urgently Required Department Manager / Supervisor (Food section) having 2/3 years of experience in Supermart and in the retail industry. The candidate must have expertise in the following.
· Strict implementation of opening and closing procedures
· Ensure product availability on shelves and inventory levels of designated sections
· Daily merchandising and display check of designated sections
· Assist and promote aggressive selling techniques throughout the designated sections in order to enhance sales
· Daily training on product knowledge to Customer Assistants to improve service quality and performance of staff
· Assist and monitor daily roster of the staff and update HR department in case of any shortage or changes
· Listens to customer complaints and resolve them
· Immediately communicate customer demands to purchase department for prompt procurement in consultation of the floor manager
· Monitor daily sales in order to achieve daily targets given by the management
· Enforces EBCO standards for quality, service, and cleanliness
· Ensure staff allocated in designated sections are adhering dress code
· Takes appropriate measures to prevent theft
· Sending demand of designated sections to Central Warehouse
· Keeping a check on price changes and enforce appropriate changes
· Managing staff breaks of designated sections
· Following up on FIFO and expires of designated sections
