The Role:
We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, team-oriented Emergency Medicine Physician to join our department. As part of the broader healthcare team, you will collaborate to provide clinical management to patients with a focus on delivering compassionate, person-centered care.
The Location
The hospital is located on an idyllic part of the Queensland coast. With over 300 days of sunshine each year there is an abundance of outdoor activities. Popular attractions include Riverbank Parklands, a riverfront parkland attraction, the coastal strip and large neighbouring islands, the vast majority of which is national park.

The Emergency Department is a regional adult and paediatric mix with an annual attendance of 50,000 presentations, of which 25% are paediatric.
We are the referral Hospital for Central Queensland and see a wide range of complex multi-speciality cases.

- Registered with AHPRA with Specialist Registration in Emergency Medicine.
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
- Specialist IMGs assessed by ACEM and found to be substantially comparable.
