EPE (Environmental Protection Engineering S.A.) is seeking to hire a Naval Architect to join our Cathodic Protection Department and take over a supportive role in the day-to-day activities by emphasizing on the preparation of cathodic protection studies for vessels.
Main responsibilities
- Identification of client’s needs and preparation of cathodic protection studies for vessels
- Preparation of anodes arrangement plans for vessels (hull & ballast tanks)
- Sales Dpt. technical support
- Creation of 3D models of marine & offshore equipment
- Modelling of CP systems for marine & offshore equipment, using commercial simulation tools
- R&D of MGPS (Marine Growth Prevention Systems) new products and applications
- Preparation of studies for ICAF (Impressed Current Anti-Fouling) systems.
- Reporting on ICAF systems’ installations and performance surveys
- Evaluation of USAF (Ultra Sonic Anti-Fouling) systems studies
- Reporting on USAF systems’ installations and performance surveys
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering
- Previous experience in the shipping industry (preferably in technical consultancy company) will be considered an asset
- Good knowledge in the use of designing tools such as AutoCAD and/or SOLIDWORKS
- Good knowledge in working with simulation tools (FEM and/or BEM)
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
